Lovely location, the manager was very friendly and helped with all our needs! Breakfast was served quickly and was very tasty! Room was cleaned everyday and bed was comfy! The hot water went out for a little while but this was sorted quickly by the manager. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend as a good place for a little stay.
My partner and I stayed here for one night in Room 9. We were impressed with the price we paid, we would both return. Room was bright, comfortable and had everything we needed, shower pressure was perfect, the sink tap pressure wasn't great but we were not too concerned. Big spacious bed with soft bedding. Super quiet so we got a great night's sleep. Cookies left for us in our room. The best part for us was the breakfast. Big big props to the chef as it was so good. Probably one of the best English breakfasts I've had. Pastries, cereals, tea/coffee and juices for you to help yourself. Thank you Guestling Hall Hotel!
What a stay l've had ! Where do l even start? We was firstly welcomed by a lovely gentleman who told us everything we needed to know about the hotel. The room was spotless not a speck of dust in sight. The breakfast was your standard English breakfast but props to the chef it was really lovely. The couple running the hotel were both very welcoming and chatty and made it feel like a home away from home. I hope to see them next time we come and stay. Proper people running a proper little hotel. Quaint and charming, full of character. So refreshing after some of the bland and boring corporate places. Chad was a star - a warm welcome when we arrived and he really made us feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble. Very comfortable bed, lovely ensuite, all clean and tidy. Good breakfast too - you won't be needing any lunch!
Manager Chad and partner Beth made us very welcome and were keen to ensure our stay was perfect. The Hotel is charming with lovely sitting rooms with log fires and interesting curiosities. Both breakfast and dinner was delicious.
I loved it. Stayed there for one night last year in May and definitely will come back. Beautiful house / hotel with lot's of African connections, many artifacts. Rooms are of good size and super comfortable, design with good taste. Staff very friendly and helpful, made me feel like at home. Food and service was also very good and pleasant. There is nice, a bit wild but well managed forest like outside space around, so if you fancy a short walk or need fresh air, there is where to go and enjoy.
Wonderful little place! Stayed here while on business in Pett. Chad was most welcoming and the facilities were perfect after a long day training. The bath was top notch! Slept beautifully and will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area. Thank you all for making a lone guest feel welcome.
Great night away. Room was great but shower and toilet downstairs, could do with a lock on it for the room only. Could leave anything in there as it was open to others . Great breakfast included, apart from the dogs barking in the breakfast room.
